I think there is a banner harvest in Richwood this year. I get Facebook posts from friends up there who are quite proud of their harvest. I miss living in Richwood particularly this time of year....ramps and trout fishing. They go together pretty perfectly along with a pound of bacon and some fried potatoes. About 15 years ago, my dad sent me a package of ramps via UPS. The driver arrived at my office and said he didn't know what was in the box but he sure was glad to get rid of it. Btw, how's Sam doing these days?
