So, a socialist health care system has one of the world's best surgeons? Can't be. The best doctors are attracted to the millions they can make in the capitalistic U.S.
They didn't just say best.....they say ONLY. I smell a DEEPSTATE operation afoot.
Funny you can go to the America Hernia Society website and find hundreds of American doctors who perform this surgery. Interesting.......Canada? If he comes out of the surgery speaking liberal tongue, then we know.....DEEP STATE!

WVU82, continue....please.....you are looking more and more foolish with every post trying to defend Paul's hypocrisy. As shown, this hospital may be private, like MOST Canadian hospitals, and receives "socialist" government funding and accepts the "socialist" health cards.
Technically you are both correct here.... somewhat. Things differ somewhat by province as well. Private clinics are paid via the health system by law, however some of these clinics actually break that law, without being held to account a lot of the time. Hope this clears it up a bit. Now...I'm outta here before Airport goes all postal on the socialism :wink:...see ya!

I'm trying to figure out why there's a hospital 'dedicated to repairing hernias'. It's not a complicated procedure and not exactly life threatening. Plus all hospitals routinely do them. Like having store that sold nothing but ketchup. I had one when I was 6. No biggy.
I went in at 6 a.m & back home by noon .....shoveled snow the next day ...
