Landsdale (Pa.) North Penn Senior athlete Ricky Johns picked up his first offer from West Virginia last week and he told me this evening that he will be making the trip to Morgantown March 13 for his first visit to Morgantown. Johns can play both ways and West Virginia is recruiting him as such. He told me that he was shocked by the offer from the Mountaineers and it meant a lot to him that West Virginia, considering its a power five school, was the first to extend a scholarship. He is open with his recruitment right now but a good visit could really swing things in the Mountaineers favor.
