#3 Oklahoma, #4 Iowa and #5 Duke all lost on the same night, so the rankings will get another shakeup.

I would take the field against ANY team in March Madness but I don’t think anyone will make that bet this year, except maybe to give you 1 cent back on a $100 bet.

I'm beginning to think there's a Kansas effect in Big 12 basketball. When Kansas looks vulnerable, the teams that rise to the top get tight and choke down the stretch.

...WVU also took a beating....

...just to keep the record straight.

Oh, I knew that. I just emphasizes my point even more.

The Big 12 tournament and March Madness are going to be fantastic to watch this year!

No one knows who will win the dang thing. Great! This is the kind of year that gives WVU a shot. No unbeatable team to deal with.

So far this week:

#3 Oklahoma lost to Texas Tech

#4 Iowa lost to Penn State

#5 North Carolina lost to Duke

#6 Maryland lost to Minnesota

#10 West Virginia lost to Texas

#13 Iowa State lost to Baylor

#15 Dayton lost to St. Joseph

#21 SMU lost to Connecticut

That’s 8 upsets in 4 days.

Virginia, Xavier and Michigan State may leap-frog up to 4 teams in the rankings – unless they lose this weekend.

Fabulous!

WVU needs a victory over Oklahoma on Saturday big-time. Losing to ranked teams isn’t nearly as bad as upsets by unranked teams.

WV got beat, but I wouldn't call a 7-point road loss at a top 25 club minus two guards including your leading scorer a beating, per se.

Some beatings were incurred last season, but still it turned out relatively Sweet in the end.

Go 'Eers. Press fight March.
