After tonight the AAC

You NEED to let this go....or at bare minimum organize a 1 on 1 with Lyons yourself, to explain your point of view towards dialing it down to the mid major level....once he agrees that it's time to make less money beating up on the likes of the sisters of the poor ...well...then you go after (together) the big gun AD's at Temple, and Tulane...together!

Memphis looks good Houston destroying an SEC team Temple playing tough against the 9th ranked team in the land, Navy is 6-1 Cincy is tough come on down WVU

What you don't realize is that isn't what determines a P5 conference. It's strictly determined by how much money networks are willing to pay.

But they win , exciting league tough teams and the league plays defense

I respect the results of the AAC.

Herbstreit said this week it was kind of like when L'Ville, WVU and Rutgers carried the torch for the Big East. The AAC has not yet won the string of bowls that the Big East did, but I get the point.

Problem, like the Big East, will be lack of coaching continuity.

WVU - Rod
L'Ville - Petrino
RU - Schiano
USF - Leavitt
UConn - Edsall
Cincy - Dantonio, Kelly

Now each of the coaches at Houston, Memphis and Temple are being mentioned as replacements elsewhere and it's probable they'll be lured away.

AAC is doing well, but let us not get carried with P 5 rating here.Mephis, Temple are one time show and than next season they will be bad if their coaches leave. Cin is doing good but who have they played really? AAC is in the same class as the WAC,MWC Cusa they are lower football than WVU and the big 12..

I will give you Temple but I think if, and that's a big if, if Memphis keeps their coach then they will be OK....Cinci will be what they always are...just good enough but always have those WTH moments.
