Additional Oklahoma State Tickets on Sale Thursday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (October 7, 2015) – An additional allotment of tickets in the upper level student sections for the Oklahoma State – West Virginia football game on Saturday, October 10 are being made available to the general public at 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 7.

Tickets will be available online at WVUGAME.com or by calling the Mountaineer Ticket Office at 1-800-WVU GAME. Available tickets are priced at $60 each and fans who purchase these tickets are advised to enter Milan Puskar Stadium through the North gate Saturday.

With West Virginia University students on Fall Break this weekend, upper level sections that were unclaimed bystudents during this week's allocation process will be available to the public. Section 211 will be sold to the public first, while the University continues to monitor student ticket distribution for the game. A portion of, or all of section 210, once section 211 is sold, may be opened for general public sales based on student ticket distribution.

"Saturday’s game is an important Big 12 Conference matchup, and we are committed to doing everything we can to ensure there are as many Mountaineer fans in the stands as possible,” said Matt Wells, WVU associate athletic director for external affairs. “We have worked closely with the University administration and the Student Government Association this week to coordinate the release of unclaimed seats in the student section to the general public and appreciate their support in offering this opportunity to fans who were otherwise unable to attend the game.”

A total of 12,500 tickets are available for WVU students for each home football game. Slightly more than 9,100students have requested a ticket for Saturday's game. These students have until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday to claim their tickets. All other eligible students may still request a ticket to the game on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Mountaineer Ticket Office will monitor the number of online requests made by students throughout the week to determine the number of tickets available to the public. Students will maintain their priority to obtain tickets and additional student guest tickets were allotted and no student who wants a student ticket to the game will be denied.

The Mountaineers’ game against the Cowboys is the ‘Stripe the Stadium’ game presented by WVU Medicine.

Fans who purchase tickets in the upper level student section are encouraged to wear gold to the game
