I love our team, but can't help but think how he could help if he had stuck around. Of course that would have meant that Tarik or Jaysean would not be here. But watching him play for St. Joe, looks like a beast. About 6'5", probably 250 lbs. Can shoot, drive, pass.....

Glad he's enjoying success and WVU is as well. Hope St. Joe can win and get in the dance.

If he stayed at WVU he would have graduated last year. He was able to hit shots as a Freshman, but couldn't play any D...I'm not sure he could handle this system.

Glad he's doing well though. Hinds went onto have an OK college career. Not sure about McCune. Forthyse did ok at Akron. Crazy how that class totally disappeared.

I always find these posts kind of funny. People wishing players who were shown the door were still here......even though they didn't do jack shit when they were here. Just what, exactly, would Aaron Brown give us now that we don't already have? I'm glad he's playing well for another team, but he sucked when he was here. He was shown the door for a reason.

Yeah, I always liked those guys- especially Pepper and Terry Henderson. But Hinds, Aaron Brown also.
Bottom line, the guys we have now (especially Tarik Phillip, JPage, Meyers - them particularly because they were older guys that we probably wouldn't have gotten but for the guys who left) are better all-around players. The guys now are: all in, defend well and can score. Things seemed to work for all-involved which is good.

True, but he may have also redshirted. Probably not, but he would have helped last year's team. And you are right, that class just went away quickly. But Huggs found his thing now, and I don't care if he's using JC players or high schoolers, I think this style of "Press Virginia" is marketable enough to get some gritty and GOOD players here at WVU. Huggs and his staff can look at an incoming recruit and say "you WILL play if you are good enough" and mean it, since he plays 10-12 players every game.

Brown was a one-dimensional player at WVU. Shot threes and that was it. Too small to rebound, too slow to defend opposing guards. Big 12 forwards and wings tend to be taller, quicker and more athletic. Very tough kid and probably a better fit at St. Joe against their level of competition. Glad to hear he is doing well.

You could make the argument that the things you posted about him were the same things on Jaysean Paige last year. He has improved, I'd think that Brown would have too. But.....happy with who is here and our success.

That class of kids didn't have a whole lot of grit. This team of full of it.

Keaton Miles was the one player who I think could have done real well in this current system. Long, athletic, seemed to play with some spirit.
