Aaaand the "witch hunt" continues

From reading the entire indictment that was handed down yesterday by the grand jury, what struck me was not necessarily the charges themselves or who they were against, because from the language of the indictment and Rosenstein’s comments, there is clearly more work to be done and more indictments coming. Indicting the Russians is a necessary message to Putin. Also interesting was Rosenstein’s comment about transferring that portion of the case to the DOJ’s National Security division (if i heard that right). I don’t know the ramifications of that move, but it seems unusual.

I was impressed by the amount of information and the extent of the details in this indictment. This investigation is obviously very thorough, very methodical, and very focused. While others (on both sides) are twittering and blabbing on tv and making rank speculations from one theory piled on top of another theory, this investigation is not engaging in publicity efforts, but is simply pushing forward. I like that, stick to business. From the indictment’s breadth of detail and precision in explaining the Russian government’s methods, names, ranks, software programs used, etc., it is clear that whatever conclusion the Mueller investigation reaches will be solid and fact-based, whether it finds wrongdoing by Americans or whether it concludes that nothing improper was done by Americans.

I was impressed that they handed off prosectuon to another group because they didnt want to prosecute this case.

Well, let's see.......which voting bloc was the one that thought the Clinton's was running a human-trafficking ring from a pizza place? Yeah.......
The looney one. The same voting block that thinks Trump is anti-Semitic, racist, and that socialism is a viable form of Government.

“True side”?..... the hack and email dumps knocked Clinton off message and impacted the election. IF it was done by Russia, they impacted the election.

I don’t know what’s incorrect about that statement. Can you tell me?

And two points -
1) I didn’t vote for Obama in ‘12, because he was not the anti-establishment honest man I thought he was in ‘08.
2) Anyone thinking that someone actually tries to “fool” others into Believing that they have different political positions than they actually have, in order to “fit in” on a discussion board, is a fvcking whacked minded half a psychopath.

Clinton had no message. Never did.

Nah, can't have it that way. Can't call out the left for its "crazies" and then make up excuses, or categories, to justify right-wing crazies. Nice try, though. [thumbsup]

I just found this on my phone that I snapped back in 2016......You think I should call Mueller?

Holy shit!

Let me get this straight. An investigation just yielded a grand jury indictment of 12 Russian military officers for interfering in one of our most sacred liberties, hacked a political party, stole voter information, hacked into a state voting system, the Presidential campaign manager and associates laundered money, attempted to evade US taxes, committed bank fraud, and you want to make jokes about these crimes and make light of them?

You’re a f’ucking moron!!!!!

You’re confused, ........ “laundered money, attempted to evade US taxes, committed bank fraud” is about former Democrat Congressman Charlie Rangel & probably others to numerous to mention who have resided in the Shithole (DC). ................ get your story straight next time.

A grand jury indictment doesnt prove anything other that you get a right to a trial. I can teach you whatever you need to know about a grand jury.

Lighten up Francis.....And.....President Trump's DOJ just indicted 12 Russians. That's more than the previous POTUS did and the dirty deeds were taking place on his watch as sat idly by.

40 million dollars, almost 2 years and no link to Trump. That is the exact definition of a witch hunt
Were there no indictments made by Mueller? No companies or people found to be in violation of US law? No clearer on the process, means and operational capacity of the Russian effort?

Fvcking a$$kissing fool

Did we need a Mueller lead investigation to get indictments against Russians in this case? Couldn’t the FBI have been on this without Mueller?

I’m sure we will be talking about the same shit next year. Mueller doesn’t want a resolution. He’s just a puppet to his deep State cronies that want to drag this trump witch hunt out

Mueller’s investigation hasn’t shed light on the process, means, or operational capacity. That’s come from the IC.

The Russian indictments while warranted based on facts, are a joke. These individuals will never see the US, let alone a court room.

Actually the previous POTUS expelled Russian diplomats and had a list of sanctions presented to Congress.

What has this President done since this investigation has yielded these results, which were not available to the previous POTUS?

Absolutely nothing.

In fact, he has said nothing about Russian meddling. He has not said what a great job this investigation is doing. He has not promised to take any action for Russian meddling and interfering with our liberties and freedom. In fact, he is currently dismissing those actions and he is meeting with Putin when he should be cancelling the meeting and imposing sanctions. He is Putin’s puppet. He is attacking NATO, which is exactly what Putin wants.

Wake up, idiot.

We indicted 5 chinese for hacking and similar crimes in I believe 2012. No trial has happened.

Putin wants NATO to rapidly increase defense spending, the US to arm Ukraine, Ukraine be invited into NATO, and have a couple hundred of his countrymen killed? You’re a fvcking moron.

This is from one of your favorite news sources, Fox. It is hard to imagine you were ever in the military.

It’s from what you “think” is one of my favorite news sources. Odd that I have 2 News Apps on my phone and FN isn’t one of them.

I’ll just go ahead and assume you have no explanation for how arming the Ukraine, trying to get the Ukraine into NATO, assaulting Putin and the Oligarchs personal finances, trying to rapidly increase funding by NATO, ramping up production of Natural Gas exports and oil, and unleashing hell on Putin’s countrymen in Syria is good for Russia.

I would love to read your retard infused rationalization of those items which fly directly in the face of your half baked narrative though.

Let me guess, “you know more than the Generals too.”

LMAO!

Please excuse me for interrupting this "circle jerk".....but I just had to do it......please carry on.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said the indictment does not name any American citizen.
"There is no allegation in this indictment that any American citizen committed a crime," he said at a news conference. "There is no allegation that the conspiracy altered the vote count or changed any election result."

Why aren't they all as upset about what was actually "in" the leaked e-mails that damaged Hillary's credibility instead who leaked them? Seems to me they're convinced Trump was behind it, even though the "spies" implanted inside his campaign and the "fake dossier" paid for by Hillary's camp for the FISA warrant to eavesdrop on his campaign in order to frame him (Trump) for it haven't produced the evidence needed to prove the "collusion" the circle jerk is convinced actually happened.

Want evidence these Leftists are convinced Trump "colluded" with the Russians to steal the election from Hillary and it actually did happen? (No way he beat her on his own) Here, read 'em for yourself in their own words:

He may be a dumba$$, but he's smart enough to cover his tracks if involved......plus, as we learned from reading, he's got enough "loyal" people who will fall on the sword rather than rat him out

"Conspiracy" has a nice ring to it.

I wouldn’t bet my life on “not changing the election result” thing, if I were you. The Russian Government hacked into state election boards and stole voter information. If it comes out they invalidated some voter registrations in states that were tightly contested...then you gotta big problem.

Let's say you decide to plot to rob a bank, and you go in with a gun, and then you decide not to take the money, are you still going to prison?

This is the scariest thing to me. A foreign state as dangerous as Russia hacks one of our parties in an attempt to release information to sway the voting public and influence the election in favor of a certain candidate......and the supporters of the candidate don’t care at all. As long as their team won, they’re perfectly ok with it. Da dang man, that’s a wacked.

They are basically siding with the foreign government here. To them, trump and Russia are on their side and the “libs” are on the other....so the libs must be the enemy.

Fvcking Russia at that too. R U S S I A ! I feel like seeing Putin at the next GOP convention wouldn’t be surprising at this point.

First, establish that there was a conspiracy between Trump campaign members and Russia to sway the election then you get Trump for trying to cover it up, aka obstruction or something like that.

I do this mental exercise a lot for various things trump does but it works well here too.

Dilute and deflect. Investigation is good. The indictments are good. And if anyone within Trumps campaign coordinated these efforts, it should be grounds for impeachment, imo.

Any more question?

Among all of those quotes in post #190 of Leftists "convinced" Trump colluded with Russians to steal the election from Hillary this one is my personal favorite:

He may be a dumba$$, but he's smart enough to cover his tracks if involved......plus, as we learned from reading, he's got enough "loyal" people who will fall on the sword rather than rat him out

So following this irrefutable logic...Trump of course to Leftists is to too stupid and too much of a walking, talking buffoon to defeat Hillary on his own, so he MUST have cheated to beat her! How else could he have won? Who'd vote for such a idiotic reprobate who goes around and grabs pussies?

However, according to this brilliantly consistent logic, Trump was smart and sophisticated enough to coordinate with the Russians (he doesn't even speak Russian like @countryroads89) a cleverly disguised clandestine hack of the DNC and it's e-mail servers to smear Hillary's pristine image, AND he manged to skillfully hide all of this skulduggery from a keen forensics investigator like Robert Mueller (the best in the business) so much so that we indeed may NEVER find the evidence of his obvious trickery despite the fact we have recorded surveillance of his campaign operation that planned the heist, as well as embedded intelligence assets who kept an eye on the caper the whole time this buffoon Trump was executing it!

But he was nevertheless still smart enough to avoid detection keeping at least one step ahead of everyone in this brilliantly conceived and flawlessly executed plan, AND he managed to keep everyone else involved quiet so as not to spill the beans! Now Mueller just can't find the evidence Trump so carefully made sure he didn't leave behind, despite the fact he's a walking, talking, stumbling, bumbling dolt who is a collossal failure incapable of being President, much less swaying anyone even with the help of Russians or his duped henchmen or sophisticated voters who avoided the scam to go against Hillary!

Trump: A brilliant buffoon.

Foreign state - RUSSIA - devotes resources towards this endeavor. THE and everyone else that is enjoying the outcome they wanted simply say “meh, they didn’t impact anything”, and I guess we just have to accept that assessment?

But an illegal hack of the DNC’s email, and multiple dumps of information that forced one campaign off message as they had to respond to constant questions about information obtained and released illegally.

No damage?

Information on voters stolen. Facebook ads. Social media robots disseminating false and misleading information to potential voters.

No damage?

Potentially - a campaign run strategically in sync with the Russia intellligence apparatus with smokescreens gained illegally and resources in violation of campaign finance laws.

These indictments say a lot to me. If true and proven, the Russians were successful in impacting this election.
lol
