That is my disconnect. Television and social media are replete with talking heads saying Trump is as good as convicted, and other talking heads saying the charges are baseless, farcical, and don't support a conviction.
Right now, no one, except the prosecutors, knows what evidence they have. As the case develops and mandatory disclosures are made, the defense lawyers will know, but much of the evidence provided to them will be confidential. Not until the trials, when the prosecutors present their evidence in court, will anyone in the general public have a credible basis to say the evidence does or does not support a conviction.
Until then, it's pretty much folks on either side attributing their personal bias (which we all have) as fact. And the parties involved in the cases trying to craft public opinion to support their own agendas. I am anxious to hear and see the actual evidence of criminal wrongdoing and the actual evidence of voter fraud, to get all this "stuff" out in the sunlight so I can make up my own mind.
