Hartline. This would be a risky hire IMO. He would have to crush his interview and really have a vision for the program he’d try to develop at WVU.
It is way different recruiting at WVU compared to Ohio State. Similarly, developing players is way more critical here than at Ohio State. I am very skeptical of blue blood assistants coming here because of this. Although, I’m not convinced he’d take the job if offered.
With that said, what am I missing with this guy? I see the downside risk being much higher with him than the upside.
