It is a great day to be a Mountaineer!

I trust that by receiving this e-mail you are one of the many Mountaineer fans from across the country that help make up Mountaineer Nation.

The holiday season is certainly an exciting time of year for all of us, especially Mountaineer fans. As the calendar year comes to a close, there is a lot to be thankful for as the football team is on a four game winning streak heading into its final regular season game before bowl preparations begin, the women’s soccer team capped off a record breaking season en route to an Elite Eight appearance, men’s basketball is nationally ranked and off to a 6-0 start after winning the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational and the rifle team ended the fall semester ranked number one in the country.

Much like each of the aforementioned accomplishments, it takes a total team effort from Mountaineer Nation to put the necessary resources in place for WVU Athletics to achieve success both on and off the field.

As stated before, I believe it is important to keep Mountaineer fans informed on the latest behind the scenes happenings with the athletics department.

I invite you to watch the video below to learn more about the 2015-16 WVU Athletics budget and how you are and can continue to make a difference in the lives of WVU student-athletes through your support. I encourage you to join the Mountaineer Athletic Club today by making your 2016 commitment and becoming a part of our winning team. Together, we can all make a difference.

Thanks in advance for your thoughtful consideration of ongoing support towards WVU Athletics.

Let's Go Mountaineers!
