About Garden City (N.Y.) Nassau C.C. defensive tackle Tyrell Chavis and what his status is leading up to Wednesday's early signing day for junior college players. Well, I spoke with his coach and I have confirmed that he is indeed an early enrollee with two years to play two but there seems to be a lot of indecision on what comes after that. Chavis has only officially visited West Virginia and Marshall but I asked his position coach if he planned to sign Wednesday and the answer I received was that he didn't know what he was going to do. I'm going to continue to work some other contacts at the school as well but for now that's where we stand.
