Two numbers that destroyed WVU today that Florida has not done against anyone this year.

Florida 3pt 12/20 60% and the rest of the year 7.1-22.2 per game with a shooting percentage of 318. Twice the regular season average.

Free throws 24/31 for 77.4% from the line. The rest of the year 14.6-23.5 .623 percentage the rest of the year and all this against one of the best defensive teams in the nation.

Bottom line a great day for a team that does not shoot well and a terrible day for a very good defensive team! Yes there were some wide open shots beyond the ark and some defensive rotation lapses but that happens in any and every game the difference was Florida did something they never do and made the shots from deep and the line.

One good thing offensively is Nate is finally showing the lack of fear to pull the trigger on the long ball and he gaining confidence again!

Would like to see a couple players be more aggressive with the ball including shooting the deep one but they seem to be timid at the young stage of their careers... they will get better! Talking about a couple newcomers.

All Mountaineer losses are bad losses and I have seen them accumulate over 42 years of watching and listening to WVU games and this one is no different but this team will be fine come tourney time!

It's refreshing to hear a 42 year fan to find something positive to say about a loss. I didn't expect this outcome given UF's historical shooting % but, today, they were hitting everything and we weren't. Oh, well.

agreed. on the positive, I am happy for Nate and thankful we've got his contributions of late. Last two games, he's chipped in 20 points, 6 boards, pair of assists and steals.

would love to see Teyvon get comfortable and show what he can do. slowly he's assimilating. when he gets the ball now, you can see he's slowing down a little bit & thinking of what he could do with it rather than immediately looking to get rid of it. He was very active against K-State. Something like 7 points in 8 mins.

I thought what killed us also today was Jaysean's foul trouble. he scored 15 points in 17 minutes. does that type of thing all the time. he must become more disciplined and stay on the floor. in my opinion, he is the best and most valuable player on the team.

& it's true, when we've lost, we get crushed at the foul line. Fla goes for 24 free throw makes today vs our 14. TX game: 18 vs 8. OU: 27 vs 13.

Agreed. I knew we were screwed once Paige picked up his 4th. I've said it before. Holton and Paige make this team. If they play well in a game, we win. Without Holton, we needed Paige and Williams plus someone else to step up. It just didn't happen. The thing I love about this team is that they never give up. The only time I saw them not try to win wad the last few minutes of the Virginia game.
