1. As I've posted previously I'm not a big fan of the hire but I understand WHY he was picked and THAT does make sense.
2. I do think there is some level of contriteness on Rich's part. I hope he never loses that moving forward.
3. After WVU making two post-Stew head coaching hires and him not even getting a phone call you know he had pretty much given up on ever coming back to WVU. Gotta be a bit surreal for him.
4. Avon threw some not so veiled shade to HCNB didn't he?
5. As I listen to Rich's interview with Tony I found myself comparing it to Neal's interviews. For whatever reason Rich just seems to be more of a football coach. Or he just seems to have a higher command of the game of football.
6. I can see somewhere down the road HCNB making the assertion that WVU didn't give him the resources they gave Rich. Mark it.
7. Wren really needs to stop the weight loss gig and actually put some weight on. He's not looking good.
8. So I guess we all sit back for the next few years and see what happens. I don't see any "in between". It's either going to be a spectacular flop or a home run hire.
