USF over Temple surprised me.
You mean ND, not Oklahoma St...and I'd put a fair amount of loot on it this year that there won't be much, if any, movement in that four when the music stops. The country club invitational already knows who it's asking to the soiree.Right now, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Alabama are most likely the Chosen Four.
I totally agree!!!!!!!!They already picked who they want, and they will block who they don't. just listen to ESPN.You mean ND, not Oklahoma St...and I'd put a fair amount of loot on it this year that there won't be much, if any, movement in that four when the music stops. The country club invitational already knows who it's asking to the soiree.
Eventually it will be conference champions and there will be 4 16-team power conferences.
Do you actually believe that the Cowboys will defeat Baylor and Oklahoma back to back?Just another reminder that it's a long way from the first playoff committee poll to midnight Dec. 5. It's college football, whose most reliable product is unpredictability.
After all these years I don't know why anyone is surprised when unbeaten fall like flies in November. After all, it happens every year. EVERY year.
Right now, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Alabama are most likely the Chosen Four.
But at midnight Dec. 5, who knows? Hell, there might be NO unbeaten teams in the Power 5. It could happen. No or 1 unbeaten happens more often than 2 or 3 unbeaten.
Meanwhile, I'll enjoy WVU's current winning streak. With Kansas next, maybe WVU can win 6 in a row, counting the bowl game, to salvage a season savaged in October.
