those refs were inconsistent..no one came to the game to see who could shoot free throws or watch them(refs) blow on a whistle..no flow to the game and just aggravating..at least to me.

The officiating is making the game unwatchable.

Maybe if players would stop the aggressive contact, they wouldn't have to blow that many whistles? Just saying....

However, I do agree that the refs tend to blow the whistle differently from game to game. IT's hard to play, or coach, that way. Keep it consistent. If it's a foul 1 minute in to the game, it should be a foul the last seconds of the game.....

It's not only inconsistent from game to game, it's inconsistent on each end of the floor. That's what drives me crazy.

One of the TV guys (Fran Fraschilla?) was saying that WVU is getting a reputation among the referees as a team that they don't want to call a game for because of all the fouls that are committed and how much longer those fouls make the game last. The refs want to hit the road to go home or to their next game. Can you blame them?

Soooo ..... if they call all the fouls the games will last longer than they do now. Thus ... apparently ... they are selective when calling fouls against us in order to make an already longer game shorter.

This was talked about openly during the broadcast.

I challenge you to find more than 6 (10%) of those calls that were wrong. We foul...we foul a lot. Bitch if you want, but it is part of our scheme. They can't or won't call them all, so their is your glimmer of hope.

I don't disagree that this team fouls, but other teams foul too. A lot. Offensive ball handlers constantly using a stiff arm for separation. No calls on charges. Devin Williams getting assaulted under the hoop with no call, then seemingly a tic tac foul call (or Holton standing feet away). Granted a lot of those examples are hopefully an anomaly from the TCU game.

Huggins mentioned 2 or 3 in his post game that he disputed, after saying that the refs weren't good but great refs. If I'm pretty sure I could find 3 or 4 more to make 6 from the TCU game.
