About to head out to links. Unheard of in Michigan this time of year. Golf today, be sore as hell tomorrow, and likely watch it snow again next week.
Got to take advantage of it.

Sore from golf? Soft two teamer. Very soft.About to head out to links. Unheard of in Michigan this time of year. Golf today, be sore as hell tomorrow, and likely watch it snow again next week.

Very sore is right. I have a very fast club speed, so my shoulders and hips can't keep up, so the arthritic pains kick in. However, stopped by One Well for 3 pints, and now at home working on a few more. Pain will be masked until tomorrow.Sore from golf? Soft two teamer. Very soft.

have to agree with MHerd on this one...........I suffer the day after now tooHow friggin old are you anyway ? I could still drive 85 pound railroad spikes a couple of years ago with with a 9 pound railroad hammer and you could lay a dime on the hammer marks and with no soreness the next day........and you are going to let a little golf ball kick your ass???
It has nothing to do with age. Nor the game of golf. You do realize professional golfers have joint issues as well, right? I've been dealing with this stuff for decades. I think it started in the early 90's, when golf and softball leagues would start up in the spring. Shots of cortisone do wonders though, for the young and old. Hurts like hell, but it works. Obviously, the older you get, the worse things become, but for sure, I get sore as hell after the first rounds. How friggin old are you anyway ? We only played nine. I actually hit the ball pretty good off the tee, and not too bad on approach shots. Really couldn't keep score, as the greens were pretty much unplayable. It was my friend's course, and he doesn't really maintain it during the true off-season, so whenever he opens it up on decent weekends, whoever plays is pretty much the grounds crew, moving sticks and limbs out of the way. If I had to guess, based on how I was hitting the ball, probably would have shot anywhere from a 38 to a 40, depending on how the putting would have gone. It's just a par 35 nine.shot 85 today...how'd you do Saturday
