Not a stat I expected to see from Howard, even against the sister's of the poor. He has been playing lights out
in a very subtle way. 2nd in the nation in yards per attempt.. good stuff. Of course there will be a fall off, but how much of one can we expect? I think the efficiency can stay high, this seems like a QB that takes care of the ball.

Maryland wont be much of a step up in competition, but they do have more D1 athletes and size, and for him to stay in the top 5 in passer rating will be exceptional, and will probably equal another W at the very least.

Howard's efficiency is the second biggest surprise to me. Topped only by the quality of receivers that we will have over the next few years. Let's hope they keep this thing rolling.

we aren't really running the ball very well considering it was Georgia S and Liberty..360 yrds 84 carries will not cut it ..longest run by an RB is 19..Skyler has a run over 30...

It's a bit alarming, that's for sure.

This is the 8th season since RR left, and honestly it feels like WVU hasn't been truly good at running the ball (or at least in short-yardage situations) ever since.

the offense is bland at best....those big plays will not be there with better defenses...I know Maryland was smoked by Bowling Green, but stranger things have happened..WVU does have a terrific back 5...

The offense is bland, or do you actually mean to say the offensive game plan against Liberty and Ga So is bland? I mean c'mon, you don't actually think that was "the offense" for the year do you? Of course it was bland.
