Why so much hatred of the Hokies, Westsider? You are the most outspoken (incredibly annoying, really) of the delusional wing of WVU's fan base who repeatedly expresses bewilderment that a fan of school in a border state, which isn't on WVU's schedule, would root against the Old Fold & Blew. Yet, here you are, hating on the Hokies, and rooting for a school that you regularly ridicule to beat Va. Tech. Is there any limit to your shameless hypocrisy?

Wrestling in NY this weekend. Kid’s got the Tulsa Nationals Champion in the semis if they make it that far. He’s the 1 my boys the 3 seed.
ray:let me explain.....when the chokies were in the now defunct metro conference they begged and pleaded with WVU to get help them into the big east which we did, and it developed into a great rivalry. When the acc rumors started to spread they said publicly they weren't leaving the big east, but lo and behold, thanks to their then governor Mark Warner they snuck away like little piss babies, and there is no honor in that...thus the hatred...and to top that ...I live here in chokie country and they are some of the most arrogant and ignorant fans alive this side of south bend and columbus.....and now you know the rest of the story
With all that being said, I feel more kinship with the Hokies than I do with the Bumbling Terd.

Given their record vs us, I doubt if the Sooners consider us a rival at all. Much in the same way that we look at Marshall, and for the same reason. The difference being that we have managed to beat them a couple of times in the past..........and Marshall has never beaten WVU
