You are referring to a rough patch that comes with the step up in conference competition. .
We are referring to the fact that Marshall will never be able to make a conference upgrade AND the gap between the P5 and other 5 will get wider and wider financially. You have no reason to believe that your program will exist at the D1 level much longer..... if at all.
Once again, you're on here telling the fans of a team you're 0-12 against that they suck. If we suck so bad, but yet you can't beat us (hell, you even gave up one game, didn't bother trying to finish it) then what does that say about you? By "you" I mean both "30Kelly" and MVU.

So if one win above .500 sucks and a losing record sucks, how would you classify 0-12? Not to mention 0-12 while stealing 50 million taxpayer dollars.
Marshall had an overall LOSING record in its first EIGHT years of CUS1AA. Didn't have a single year winning record in CUS1AA until its 7th year in the league.
Strength of schedule/conference record for each year and notice how Marshall football began to "soar" as its strength of schedule and CUS1AA began its ant-ball status.

2009: 86th (4-4)
2010: 91st (4-4)
2011: 56th (5-3)

Keeping in mind that Marshall is 0-12 versus the team you mock (0-3 under Marshall's "best coach ever", Doc) tell us how Marshall football is so awesome.

It is cool. People make mistakes.
It is not like you gave a team hell for being terrible but then hired their associate head coach (must not have been that bad). It's not like you hired that coach for the sole purpose of beating one team and then choked.
When the SEC plucks of the prime members of the Big 12....wonder what the league that got left behind will look like?
The Big 12 will probably get splt up between the Big 10, ACC, and SEC around 2023. This isn't new news or anything for WVU concerned about. We will have a home because we will have all that is necessary to bring interest from other conferences (facilities, media numbers, etc). This is all possible with the money we are making NOW. By that time, CUSA games will only be available in the rubble of blown up mud huts in Iraq.
I bet it looks much better than CUSA JV league.

I don't think so, Texas and Oklahoma will get taken by the SEC but the rest will get stuck in what's left behind...but that may turn out to be a blessing, who knows!
