2016 Football Season Tickets Now on Sale

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – (March 24, 2016) –Season tickets for the 2016 WVU football season are now on sale to fans who did not have season tickets in 2015.

Season tickets begin at $395, a savings of $45 off the single game price. Depending on seat locations, season tickets may require a Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) annual fund gift. The Mountaineers have a seven-game home schedule, which features matchups with Missouri and Youngstown State, along with Big 12 Conference-foes Oklahoma, Baylor, TCU, Kansas and Kansas State.

Available tickets are located in the Red, Orange and Gold Zone sections. Seat locations in the Orange Zone require a $125 per seat MAC annual fund gift. Available Gold Zone seats require a $250 per seat MAC annual fund gift.

Red Zone seats require a $425 gift per seat MAC annual fund gift. For new season ticket orders in the Red Zone larger than five tickets per account, please refer to the MAC priority ticket limits by visiting WVUMAC.com. For a Milan Puskar Stadium seating chart, visit WVUsports.com.

New season ticket holders will have the option to select their own seats using an interactive seating website during the Optional Seat Selection process if they purchase by the priority deadline of April 29. If fans choose not to participate in the Optional Seat Selection process, then the best available seats within the qualified section will be assigned by a MAC representative.

Selection times will be based on MAC annual giving level and priority points within each level. Priority to renew will be given to current season ticket holders.

New season ticket orders can be made online at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or in person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office location at Gate A of Monongalia County Ballpark. Payment must be made by check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

Fans interested in Blue Zone, Field Box, Touchdown Terrace and other premium seating options can contact the MAC at 1-800-433-2072.

Renewing season ticket holders can renew their tickets online at WVUGAME.com or by returning their priority renewal order form to the Mountaineer Ticket Office. The priority deadline to renew and make a MAC gift is Friday, April 29.

West Virginia opens the 2016 season on Saturday, Sept. 3, against Missouri at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.

i remember when we were wining bcs bowls and prices were about 1/2 what they are now. damned progress

I prefer watching WVU home games from my couch...but when I do attend games I can usually get (good) tickets fairly cheap. Certainly less than the average cost after considering a required donation (which technically isn't then a donation imo).

So far I've already purchased one game (Fed Ex).

Still, I would t mind buying a couple good season tickets and give most away as gifts while using them myself for 1 or 2 games. ....but does donating enough for red zone seats actually mean I'll get them or can I be bumped to worse seats ? I guess I'm asking if I can 'donate' when I pick my seats ?

Seat choices are tied to MAC donations. You don't pick your seats; you pick your color zone. WVU picks your Section and Seats.
