2016 Milan Puskar Stadium Field Box Upgrades Revealed

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (January 14, 2016) – The West Virginia University Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) has unveiled seating and ticket renewal information for the upgraded field box seating areas at Milan Puskar Stadium.

The newly upgraded field boxes feature the following amenities: premium sideline seating, new chair back padded seats with cup holders, overhanging new LED flat screen televisions, two overhead heaters per box, personal field box service to cater food/beverage requests and field box privacy provided with wrapped glass.

“We are extremely excited to be able to provide a new type of premium seating experience to our donors starting in 2016,” Senior Associate Athletic Director/Executive Director Matt Borman said. “We feel that the amenities we have added will provide a first-class opportunity for WVU fans to watch the Mountaineers play, and the costs per seat are very much in line with the same cost for our additional premium seats at Milan Puskar Stadium.”

The season ticket cost for field boxes 12-27 and 50-65 (located at the top of sections 104-107 and 124-127) will cost $1,500 per ticket. All other field box seats will cost $1,300 per ticket.

All current field box holders will have the opportunity to renew season tickets at the new pricing model. Individuals who purchase field boxes will be considered a stadium suite holder and will receive benefits at the Mountaineer Scholar ($25,000+) annual giving level. Full and half (3-4 rows) field box holders must sign a five-year contract.

“The Mountaineer Athletic Club is cognizant of donors and season-ticket holders who have a long history of sitting in thesesections and may not be comfortable with the price increases,” Borman added. “As an office we will work with each of these individuals to make sure they still have the opportunity to attend Mountaineer football games in quality seats.”

Letters of intent for seat renewals have been mailed out from the MAC office, and those interested in maintaining their field box seats must sign the letter by Friday, Feb. 5.
