I've said multiple times that Huggs has been working with Carter and Miles on slight tweaks to their mechanics and it looked like we were trending toward being a better perimeter shooting team.

Last night's performance seemed to confirm that trend. If it continues against OU today, win or lose, I'll feel really good about the NCAA's.

If we are in the 40% or above from 3 in the NCAA's we will be a very tough out and can make a deep run.

Having said all of that ... last night's game was ridiculously painful to watch. It seems like we sleepwalked through the whole thing. Bad positioning, not blocking out, getting beat on the boards, etc. Just seemed like we played with absolutely no energy or enthusiasm.

If you need a lesson I'm available

In all seriousness, 13-39 is maddening to watch. Keep chucking them like crazy and not many go in. We had more than a few games like that in the Beilein years. We were predominantly successful with it, but it was tough at times.

Yes it is but it's a fun style. I enjoy watching teams throw it up from anywhere. Anything around half court is fair game

Yes, it is, and it definitely opens up the floor.

The Beilein system was beautiful to watch at times. Great passing, cuts to the basket, etc. all setup because of the threat of the 3.

It can be fun to watch, until some team you know you can beat throttles you because you can't hit the broadside of a barn from three paces on a given night.
