#10WVU/#1KU pick'em tomorrown night, but there's a BIG

doubt if we could hang with UK or Louisville.... OK, I get it.
I doubt it too on a neutral floor...but I'm giving the Mounties the benefit of the doubt and believe you boys will play much better than you did in your last encounter with a team with a pulse.

Funny that the starting point for the line is the same as Sagarin predictor.

Hey, no particular love for KU ....beat their ass! Hard for me to really develop any sense of how good WVU might be , saw them implode against UVA, the only top 25 team they've played...saw MU implode in the second half of the tilt in Charleston. Guess we'll find out tonight, if they can beat good teams in the friendly confines of the coliseum. But I will be rooting for you for what it's worth!

What's your "sense" of how good Louisville is after Clemson beat them? Seems you have a better sense for a team you've seen play less, is ranked 10 spots lower in both polls, and feel they are somehow superior to WVU. Not sure I understand the logic...unless that's the consensus down at the Huntington brake repair shop.

"Friendly confines" LOL.... Sure...It's our home court. Are we allowed to ever play back at home again after a 3 game road trip spanning over a week, pocketing 3 wins?

Reminds me of the "Howard can't hit the broadside of a barn...and, Birdsong will be just fine.." bloviation. WVU bad.... anyone/everyone else good(unless WVU beat them, then they aren't very good)....

Howard had a better completion %, 2-1 TD/Int ratio, 130 QBR(and broke a 25 year old bowl record)... If our receivers didn't drop so many balls, it could have been a lot better....

Birdsong had lower completion %, 1-2 TD/Int ratio, 90 QBR and was beaten out by a freshman, while playing vastly inferior competition.

I think Louisville is pretty good...got nipped @ Michigan State and @ UK and got nipped @ Clemson. The road in college basketball is the most powerful home advantage in sports so I can't get on any team too much for losing those games. As I said haven't seen much of WVU but have seen a lot of Louisville.

We aren't bad.
We actually played a pretty clean game against OKState. Seemed like we really cut back on our turnovers.

If we don't turn the ball over, we are quite good. If we stop turning it over and also start hitting 3's more consistently we can make a long run. If we turn it over a lot and don't hit shots, we get results like the second half of the UVA game.

I don't think WVU is bad either...as the season plays out we'll certainly know more, WVU hasn't really played anybody yet but hasn't made any missteps either....we'll know more after tonight, I expect WVU to play 'em tougher than hell!

I'm afraid Old Man Time Ellis will single-handedly foul out 2 of our players......Williams and Holton.... They aren't that great on the glass... Better defensively than offensively. WVU should get several put-back scores, and hold serve on the defensive glass. We hit 3's and free throws..We win. If not, it could get ugly.
