    The day anyone should care what has triggered Huggins has long past. About 8 months and especially now the program has fully moved on. I wish him well and will pull for him wherever he goes even if he goes to a program I despise. As a fanbase, put history behind us and support the future.

    I also think he could do well. WVU is a very good job in basketball. I hope the public is not expecting too much year 1. People constantly stating this past team had talent and putting so much blame on Eilert was disappointing but not surprising to me.

    I fully agree with this perspective. A solid program recruits HS talent every year and fill in the gaps with transfers. A team can have a successful year solely on transfer but it can't be sustained just like one and done's can't be sustained.

    I don't disagree we are on the brink of a tough season next year. It depends on the coach and his ability to sell the program in this "new" environment of college professional athletics on whether or not he can have a decent year 2 and beyond. It isn't a slam dunk that he will no matter who it is.

    Chris Beard and Rick Pitino were forced to leave the positions when they had trouble. Nothing is stopping Huggins to do the same. Bad comparison.

    I never call for anyone to be fired unless it is something truly horrible in the capacity of the job. I did not call for Huggins to be fired. I did say on this board he did wrong and he was probably out of his 9 lives. I was fine with the resignation understanding it will set the program back...
