    Hardly. The team has been playing in the deep end of the pool and is just a couple of made shots or favorable whistles or timely stops from winning all of them except T A&M. The short turnarounds haven't helped either (obviously not a problem tonight). They'll be fine.

    Didn't say that it had anything to do with academics, only that he had to complete the first semester (successfully), then get cleared by NCAA. There is no definite number of games, because no one knows how long that will take. That's my understanding of the situation, just passing it along.

    For the first semester, but...... he has to get his grades back, get them to the NCAA, and wait for them to review and send back their ruling. So there is really no way to know exactly when he will be available because it depends on when the NCAA gets around to it.

    Next year's offense the deepest and most talented in program history?

    No doubt that was one of the great ND teams, but I really think you underestimate how valuable Major was to the team (and I'd say it was a huge psychological blow to lose him that early). I don't think there is any way we lose if Major stays healthy.
