Thinking about flying into Pittsburgh to watch WVU take on Pitt at The Peterson Events Center. Anyone been there? I see tickets are still available (albeit a bit pricey). I think it sits up on the hill near where the old stadium was. How hard is it to find parking? Any advice?

I have been wondering for a while how much longer you will see there be a limit on the number of years a “student athlete” can be eligible to play college sports. My guess is it won’t be that much longer that athletes will be limited to 5 years (or whatever it is these days with all the exceptions that exist).

I noticed a lawsuit filed by someone suing related to junior college transfers eligibility rules. I think we are 2-3 years from “student athletes” not having to be enrolled or attend classes and there being no limits on the number of years they can play.

I think we are close to “college branded athletic programs” and no longer college sports as we once knew it. It will make insane amounts of money like the NFL but it won’t be what it was once. In fact, it already isn’t….

Nikki Haley's Dire Trump Prediction Is Coming Back To Haunt MAGA Voters

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) made a prediction in January that sounds pretty ominous for Donald Trump’s election hopes now that President Joe Biden has pulled out of the 2024 race.

“The first party to retire its 80-year-old candidate is going to be the party that wins this election,” Haley said six months ago.

After seeing Lesley getting arrested and ShaDon coming after Keenum. They can all kick rocks at the end of this season. They are abysmal at every format of the game. Bean is a bigger loser for keeping these duds and up until our AD came in and forced a major change to replace Domestic Lesley. I hope we just move on from them all and idc if they beat the scrubs left on the schedule.

Article is focused on slamming Steelers' poorly rated training facility, but WVU's facility gets positive reviews in the article. Beanie is willing to make the hour long trip to use apparently better equipment.

Personally I think Neal has done a very good job of holding onto players even after his worst seasons. But with NIL and the portal, it's becoming more of a problem for every program. There is a belief that a few more may leave after this season than Neal has normally lost. That point was made to me twice yesterday. The idea is that if WVU is going to experience several losses this off-season, the decision to move on from Neal becomes even easier. With all of that said, I don't see any reason to panic when it comes to the idea that a large amount of players plan to leave.

One other thing many donors and those close to the program have talked about is how you're seeing schools hiring lower-level coaches but those coaches have been able to bring talent with them. That's making the Jamey Chadwells even more important because they have serious talent on their current teams.

The Mountaineers were represented extremely well, especially the lower deck. I was up top but I heard you down there. Kudos to you. And a shout out to the Cincinnati fans and overall experience. Everyone was super helpful and nice, even the students were cool. We got to pre-game at the Sigma Chi and Delta Tau Delta house party. And the campus was beautiful. I’d never been there before. Very surprised how nice it was. Totally expected a city school vibe but no. It has a real campus feel. Just a great day overall. I will definitely go back. LGM
