Caught some of the Utah vs. OSU game. Grundy pulled Bowman for poor play and his replacement was awful. He put Bowman back in and almost pulled off a comeback. Finally we’ll see a QB who is average at best. I didn’t watch KSU but saw they were waxed by BYU. Big 12 is going to be wide open as everyone predicted. Maybe the gauntlet we’re about to run through won’t be as rough as we thought. Plus OSU does not have a bye week before we play them. They actually play KSU. Should be a big advantage for us.

It's amazing how many kids leave their initial school and you never hear from them again. Winston Wright has had a few moments of success since leaving WVU but you have to wonder how things would have gone had he been able to stick with one school. Maybe he'll make the most of his last year.

I am not going to sugar-count this, but this is catastrophic in the mountains right now. These are all the flash flood emergencies in effect now. Landslides, floods, dam failures, washed-away homes, and bridges are everywhere. We don't even know how bad it is in spots since all communication and most power are out. Please pray for these people and help in any way you can.

I have granddaughter and grandson there. It was to be parents weekend. Everything is flooded including King street. Many dorms without power and no drinking water and limited cell service. Parking lots with kids cars are flooded over them. Granddaughter's friends apartments were evacuated and one had tree come down on it and now their apartment is unlivable. No one is allowed out and have to boil water. How does a student boil all their water? Lake Lure's damn is ready to break. Really sad.
