Sources: West Virginia QB Garrett Greene, LT Milum doubtful

West Virginia starting quarterback Garrett Greene and left tackle Wyatt Milum are considered doubtful for Saturday's game at Arizona, sources told ESPN.

Greene left last week's loss to Kansas State with an upper-body injury. He has thrown for 4,422 yards in his career with 30 touchdown passes and 15 interceptions.

Nicco Marchiol is expected to get his second career start at quarterback in Greene's absence. He has played in 16 career games and has 388 career passing yards and 228 rushing yards.
Milum is a four-year starter and one of the top offensive tackles in the sport. He has been one of the highest-graded tackles by Pro Football Focus, which named him a midseason All-American. He was second-team All-Big 12 last year, as voted by the conference's coaches.

West Virginia is 3-4 with all four losses to teams that are in College Football Playoff race: Penn State, Pittsburgh, Iowa State and Kansas State.

your choice..WVU has never been and will never be flush with cash..WV and Kentucky lead the nation per capita for adults on disability and social security as their only means of income..with over 200,000 living alumni if they all gave $100 that would be 20 million ..that will never happen

I don't disagree with what you're saying here but my only point is Neil Brown has not given WVU the results it is used to giving and we are further hurting because of it. No we're never going to be like USC or Texas or any of these big brands, but we deserve to at least get back to what we used to be, which is being a regular top 25 team. The last 6 years we haven't even been ranked. That is unacceptable for a team like WVU with such a solid football history.

I do support the team and have supported the team since I was old enough to pay attention. The thing is, Neil Brown is not the team. Brown is an outsider and the biggest mistake WVU has made in over 50 years. I support everything about WVU football except for the coaching because they are holding this team back. I support every player, even Greene, because they are all subjected to very bad coaching. I paid way too much for tickets to two games this season and I won't be doing that again until Brown is gone. I won't be sending them any of my money through the Mac or Country Roads Trust until Brown is gone. That is my right as a fan. WVU has a very expensive game day experience and we are absolutely not getting our money's worth.

Winning makes money. If WVU Sports wants to get out of the gutter then making the football program a winning program is absolutely 100% critical to that. Baker is well aware of this, and Neil Brown will be gone at the end of season.
WVU already proved during covid that they can make money with just the TV and other corporate sponsors..when WVU was an independent they had no TV contract like now

you need to face reality and just support the team..Brown will be back because WVU simply does not have the money.
