I said a market rate deal FWIW.

I don’t think we should move heaven and earth to get him. He’s old, 1 year removed from the game, has no history recruiting to WVU or its neighboring peers and with more resources and money to work with than most coaches he put in ho hum results. The school he left is better without him.

But yes, if he just wants to coach again and is willing to understand that we are going to offer a market rate deal and not hamstring ourselves to a coach who objectively could fall on his face without endless resources to work with, then I say welcome home.

No he hasn't. You are correct. That being said i don't think it was all him. Imo he's just a better fit at WVU and always was. That ship has sailed though, imo.

Jimbo Fisher is nothing more than a reclamation project at this point. The guy had all the resources in the world at AM and he couldn't win. He was 5-7 in year 5 and 6-4 at the time he was fired in year 6. That is cutting it especially when NIL heavily favored a school like Tamu. Stop making excuses for the guy. He is a wash out and you would never mention him if he wasn't from WV. The types of coaches that UNC will pursue are the same types that WVU will pursue. Fisher isn't being mentioned for the UNC job and if he were as great as you seem to think he would.

Despite anything, Jimbo is a way better coach than Neal Brown and its not even close. Anyone who thinks otherwise is drunk on idiocy. Keep trying tho....
