Mini-Packages & Single-Game FB Tickets on Sale

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – (July 1, 2015) - Mini-packages and single-game tickets for the 2015 West Virginia University football season will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, July 7, at 9 a.m. Tickets will be available for purchase online at WVUGAME.com, by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or in-person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office inside the WVU Coliseum.

WVU is offering three mini-package options to choose from for home games this fall. The Mountaineer Package features four games for $235: Georgia Southern, Maryland, Oklahoma State and Texas. The Gold Package, a three-game option, includes Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Texas for $175. The third and final option is the Blue Package, priced at $175, for the Georgia Southern, Oklahoma State and Texas games.

Tickets for the Mountaineers’ Homecoming matchup with Oklahoma State only will be available as part of the mini-packages. Information on potential single-game ticket availability for the matchup with the Cowboys will be announced at a later time.

Single-game tickets will be available for games against Georgia Southern, Liberty, Maryland, Texas Tech, Texas and Iowa State. The Georgia Southern and Liberty games are priced at $55 each with the Maryland, Texas Tech and Iowa State games priced at $60 apiece. Tickets for the WVU-Texas matchup will be $80 each. For information on discounted rates for groups of 20 or more, contact the Mountaineer Ticket Office at 1-800-WVU GAME as group discounts are not available online.

Fans are encouraged to utilize the ‘Pick Your Own Seat’ option on WVUGAME.com for single-games purchases. The seats available online at WVUGAME.com are the best possible seats available at this time, pending completion of season ticket sales. Available tickets will be located in the Gold, Orange and Green Zone sections of Milan Puskar Stadium.

For fans wanting to purchase mini-package or single-game tickets in the upper level Red Zone sections (204 and 216-219) of Milan Puskar Stadium, a $60 Mountaineer Athletic Club annual fund/ticket priority gift per ticket per game is required unless they are currently MAC members at the Gold annual giving level or above. Upper level Red Zone seats may be purchased over the phone by calling 1-800-WVU GAME, but are not available online.

“We are excited to offer three different mini-packages to give fans a variety of options this season,” says Matt Wells, Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs. “Providing more ticket package options and allowing fans to pick their own seats online have been two key improvements we have been able to offer to our fans based on feedback we’ve received in recent years.”

The matchup with Liberty has been designated as “Family Day” with four tickets and a $25 concessions voucher available for $150 per package.

Tickets for West Virginia’s road contests with Oklahoma, Baylor, TCU, Kansas and Kansas State also will be available on Tuesday, July 7. Existing season ticket holders and MAC members should login to their WVUGAME.com account or call the Mountaineer Ticket Office to purchase away game tickets. For non-MAC members, a $25 MAC annual fund/ticket priority gift will be added for each away game purchase.
