CHARLESTON, WV -



The City of Huntington released data on heroin overdose rates in Cabell County, West Virginia.

According to the release, there have been more than 200 overdoses in Cabell County since the beginning of the year. If that trend continues Huntington is on pace to have six times the national average of overdoses. The release says 24 of those overdoses resulted in death.

In the past year, Huntington has launched the "dozens of arrests.
