they are entering the portal or announcing they are going to transfer where waivers get involved? Ultimately, doesn't it boil down to NIL dollars, most of the time. Point being, if the NCAA would decide to eliminate all waivers on transfer requests all a player has to do is announce they are going to portal to reach their ultimate destination and money thereby making a transfer route a moot point.
