Should be 3-1 going into the evening games. The night games should be wins but you always worry what Kansas will do even if they are playing Southeast Missouri State.

WVU's game will decide how the conference looks after one week IMO.

Looks like the Oklahoma (OSU/OU) boys are going to be leading the conference until someone else steps up. We'll find out what WVU has tomorrow.

Texas was a beast in 2005 as they won the NC and their games weren't even close except Ohio State 24-22 and USC 41-38 and they went 13-0. They remained a top 10 program through 2009 as they lost the NC to Alabama 37-21.

Since then they are 46-43 with four losing seasons including the last three. From watching today's game against Maryland, they are probably again a 5-7 team. These are still not your father's Longhorns, despite persistent media predictions that 'this is the year Texas is back!'. Maybe next season. They could make a bowl this year, but that's about it. JMHO
