The list can go on... But, WVU's superiority in every metric will always remain. Reading through delusion of grandeur Marshall posts is frustrating. Try as you will to jealously rationalize your existence and relevance, you will ALWAYS be inferior......regardless. It's comical to read your angst ridden 'look at me' arguments, and Rivals posts. Marshall is a commuter college that ties its identity up in football (be it on a small scale) versus academics, and its constant 'noncompetitive' battle with WVU. Every coach you've ever had has been fired, or interviewed for every open P5 job available, for a reason. Accept your place in the world.
Sure, you can wind up in the bottom of the top 25 in college football (how you arrived there is dubious at best). Seriously, do Marshall fans really think they could have even competed against, USC, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kansas State, WVU, last year? But, that was a monumental achievement for Marshall, and aberration(a flaw in the gratuitous rankings). Marshall's aberrations are WVU's expectations. We took a step up in competition, no question(which is 2-3 steps higher than Marshall). There are growing pains, but we'll get there. There is no THERE for Marshall. But, by all means, continue your comparisons, but everyone, even you, know the truth.
