Just got back this afternoon from 3 1/2 days in Charleston. I'd vote that we do that tournament every other year if we can. My favorite city on the east coast, a foodie capital of South Carolina and the Southeast, friendly people, a well run tournament (except for the scoreboard keepers...they could not get the score right). And for those who complain about the food at Mylan Puskar Stadium and the Coliseum. Well...the bar is set high at TD Arena and the College of Charleston. One concession stand had: fish tacos, fried okra, mac and cheese, bbq brisket basket, shrimp basket and Tiramisu....very impressive! I told the workers they got the college basketball award for concessions in my book. I am going to send an email to Shane Lyons on that. He was there Thursday and Friday night and had to have noticed.
To fellow blue lotters....if you can........plan to go next time. Something for everyone outside the gym and a home atmosphere in the gym. Really enjoyed the trip.
