Anyone have an opinion on a Henry 357 mag, lever-action rifle?

Just to own? Absolutely! Great guns, well made, definitely a keeper and something to hand down to future generations.

To hunt with? Ehhh, lots of better options out there, both in caliber and model. To me, a Henry isn't a gun I'd want to mar while dragging out my deer or scrape and bruise hauling it up a tree. But, that's just me.

.45-70 and Mare's Leg...

under 150 yards, the .45-70 is deadly...

Leg is a great rabbit/squirrel gun
