I love these arguments. They fail to capture the reality of businesses cash grabbing due to market forecasts. The notion that companies just capture and pass the costs through is ridiculous. It’s not 1 for 1. It’s scaleable. For instance, if my costs go up a dollar, I have to increase my price more than that single dollar to maintain ROS requirements. It’s just math.
Not only this, but dividends these same companies pay out of their profitabilty are sent to shareholders that Leftists are currently crowing about as stocks post record gains!
So on the one hand they're criticizing so called "greedy" corporations and their investors, then turn around and try to pimp those same folks gaining wealth as evidence we should continue Biden's misguided economic policies.
